    Need help on a Crossover

I have a pair Altec 803-B woofers in a 612 cabinet with 802-D horns on top. They are both using N800-E crossover networks. I am looking to upgrade the crossover but don't know how. Any suggestions would really be appreciated
    Thanks
    Mike

Normally you replace the caps, and test your resistors and L-pads but if your have tar filled you might to start from scratch. Do a search for your XO here.
Nothing like a great big pair of speakers to make your day.

The thread I was thinking about is here but I don't see the schematic anymore.

Re: Need help on a Crossover

I have torn some of the tar out of the crossover and put a couple of oil cans on the outside of the crossover. They helped a lot but the resistor network is still in there. I was hoping there was an upgraded crossover.
I also did not see a schematic at the link.
